"A QUEST"
An ancient Native American once stood on Rockaway shore to perceive what may lie beyond the distant horizon.
The answer came swiftly as water lapped against his buckskin clad feet.
For it is God's creation which is All.

"TIME AND TIDE DOES WAIT FOR MAN"
The adage says that "time and tide waits for no man!" is a misnomer. Recently, I moved to the shore of the great Atlantic Ocean in Far Rockaway on Long Island NY and put my hand into the salty sea. I smelled the water and wet my lips as a gentle ocean breeze indigenous to the motion of the waves and suddenly remembered swallowing a mouthful over sixty years ago! This was the same water that quenched the thirst of dinosaurs many millions of years ago before man invaded Terra Firma! The same Sun and same Moon did a daily encore performance and that same Poseidon got angry from time to time occasionally redesigning the seashore in a continuous cycle our distant ancestors would recognize. This epiphany realized by millions of artists throughout the ages painting a naked canvass with colorful oils of sunrise, noon and sunset on this or any seashore tells us that whatever troubles befall us, like the neap and ebb tides the ageless waves wash them away only to discover and yet, appreciate another day.
